Boosterthon News for Race Morning

We have just one day left in our Boosterthon season! Our students have loved learning about the Mind Spark Mystery Lab and the five important character traits of Citizenship, Zest, Growth, Integrity, and Teamwork.

There is one day remaining to reach our ultimate fundraising goal of $30,000! Share your child's Boosterthon pledge page at with grandparents, family, friends, and social media contacts tonight. Every pledge, both big and small, helps!

Tonight, the five classes with the most new pledges will get to pick their favorite reward from their class Pledge-O-Meter!

Other Exciting Rewards Received this Week:

  • Miller's class had the most new pledges on Wednesday and enjoyed lunch with the Boosterthon team.
  • Galimore’s class won the door décor contest and enjoyed a silly string and cupcake party.

Important News for Tomorrow’s Event:

We will hold the Fun Run tomorrow outside on the Grace field as planned! We are optimistic that the rain will hold-off and allow us to continue with the fun outside. If the weather takes a turn for the worse overnight or there is lightning in the morning, we will move the event indoors to the Garage. We will notify you in the morning only if there is a change.

Event Times:

  • PreK3-PreK4: 8:30 a.m.
  • K5-2nd Grade: 9:30 a.m.
  • 3rd-6th Grade: 10:30 a.m.

Should we move inside due to weather, the schedule timeframe will remain the same.

Your child should wear their official Boosterthon t-shirt, comfortable shorts, and old sneakers that can get dirty. We do anticipate the field being wet and muddy with possible light sprinkles. Please pack your child a change of shoes, socks, and a towel for after the race. Spectators should plan to wear casual shoes too!

After the Run:

Parents may take your children home after their scheduled event however please check-out with your child’s teacher before leaving. Students may also return to their classroom until the scheduled 11:30 a.m. early release. Grace Camp is available after school tomorrow and any students planning to stay for Grace Camp should bring a lunch.

Preschool Carpool Change:

Due to a funeral in church tomorrow afternoon, preschool carpool will be moved to the church office doors, which is just past the main school entrance. Parents should proceed to carpool at 11:30 a.m. in the same manner as morning drop-off.

Rain or shine, tomorrow is going to be a blast for our community! Thank you for supporting the students and programs of Grace Academy!
